Patawomeck Heritage Foundation treasury Funds

The PHF manages multiple accounts in their mission to help the Patawomeck Tribal Members and educate the general public.

You can donate to any of these accounts in order to help the Tribe and the Foundation. Just note on your check's memo which fund you would like your donation to be applied to. Donations with no notation will be applied to the PHF General Fund.

Scholarship Fund :Started in 2012, the Scholarship Fund has awarded assistance to students to help offset the costs of continuing their education beyond High School.
Language Reclaimation Fund :Language Instructor, Becky Guy applied for and recieved a grant from The Duff McDuff Green, Jr. Fund in 2011 to purchase equipment for the Patawomeck Laguage classes. Continued donations to this fund will support future Language class needs.
Building Fund This fund was initiated in response to the many needs of the Tribe to have a place of their own for Tribal events and varied requests by the public for information regarding the Patawomeck. The monies donated will be used to provide capital to purchase land, build, operate, and maintain a Patawomeck Cultural Center & Museum.
Voorhees Grant Awarded to PHF in 2013 by The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia from the Alan M. & Nathalie P. Voorhees Fund, this dedicated grant allows the PHF to fund the Foundation's infrastructure & to achieve the PHF Mission Statement.
General Fund Monies not specific to the other accounts are deposited in the General Fund to support activities of the PHF.
